Spirit Week!

Starting today; October first, is the first day of spirit week! Spirit week lasts five days and has different topics to dress up as throughout the week. I will be dressing up because i want my senior class to get as many points as possible to be able to go to cedar point. Today was sports day so I wore a Detroit Pistons jersey. Tuesday is camoflauge day, Wednesday is wacky Wednesday, Thursday is awareness day so we're wearing white for lung cancer, and Friday is Aggie spirit day so the school wears as much green as possible! Some of he teachers participate in spirit week and personally, I think the teachers should participate to show their Aggie pride but they shouldn't participate in the pep assembly because the pep assembly is for the students. Not the staff. The pep assembly is on Friday and takes up the last half of the day. All the students gather in the gym to cheer on the participating students. I've participated in the pep assembly once or twice but this year all the seniors get to participate. If asked, i would participate. The teachers, like i said, shouldn't be involved in float building or the pep assembly because it's for the students. Happy spirit week :) <3
